Want to know a bit more about me, my ambition and my history? You are at the right place. I will give you more insight on how I got in Leuven, and finished in the national beachvolleyball team.
My history
I started volleyball at the age of 8 in my hometown club, Thimister. With this club I played in several Walloon Championships, finishing 3rd in 2017 in U11, 1st in 2018 in U13 and 1st in U13 2019 + 3rd in the 2019 Belgian Championship, and qualified for the Walloon Championship 2020 which unfortunately didn’t take place. I was also part of the Walloon selection for my age group.
In 2021, after the Covid 19 period, the Walloon selection proposed us to do a beachvolley training session to decide who would join them. I took part in this special training, during which a coach from the national team was there. Afterwards, I received an e-mail telling me that I had been selected by the Walloon selection, but also that the national coach invited me to join their “Topsport Beachvolley School” in Leuven. After thinking long and hard with my parents, I finally decided to go join them.
This school taught me a lot about myself and enabled me to progress in this sport that I knew so little about, but which I can’t now imagine stopping. Thanks to this school, I was able to join the national beachvolley team within my age group and take part in several international tournaments, including the European U22 and U18 Championships.

- 9th place U22 European Championship
- 8th place U18 European Championship
- Participation in the Nations Cup
- 9th place Future Beach Pro Tour Leuven
- Lots of 3rd places in the “Belgian Beach Championship manche”
One day:
I would like realise this kind of results:
- Podium at World Tour Event
- Podium at Ladies Belgium Master
- Participation at Ladies European Championship
- And who knows participation at World Championship…
- And for sure travel a lot,…
I know it is going to be hard and need a lot of work. I am ambitious about it, I love this sport. Beachvolleyball also allows me to combine my liking for sport and travel.
